A Guide of Remote Car Starter Installation

Currently, it is possible for the backyard mechanic to do a remote car starter installationon his own though immobilizer and despite the routine use of conventional cable 12-volt polarity in the model that has an automatic transmission.

The following is an effective and easy to remote car starter installation:

In the first step installation of your remote car starter installation, remove the cowling around the steering column and the bottom panel of the dashboard on the driver's side. Find the ignition wiring harness of the table after checking the steering column; get the appropriate color for each ignition, starter, accessories, and power. You will see that this is appropriate in many cases by studying the direction of the cable for your particular starter.

With the use of electrical connections, look for the remote starter unit under the dash and the rope in a meeting that is high enough to get out of the way the pedals. To run the cable through the engine compartment, drill a hole in the firewall using the drill 1/4 inch. When drilling so as not to pierce an important component or wire on the opposite side, such as the brake master cylinder, you must be very careful.

From the starter, look for a ground wire and connect the ring terminal to the end. To speed it up to solid ground on the car, use self tapping screws. If it comes with one, feeding pin and wire hood tachometer wire through the hole in the firewall. By using a small electrical connection, the rope is out of the way up the moving parts on the machine. With the hood, put the pin in a tent can be opened or closed and install a tachometer wire to wire shown in the table.

From the remote starter unit labeled starter, ignition, accessory and constant power, strip wires. Use a probe based test to test those if the color of wires in the car that is not true according to the diagram you have.

From the remote starter on a cable that fits inside the car, plug the cable, but do not solder them. Replace the brake cable from the starter and found the brakes on the brake wire. Place the parking light wire generally at the back of the lights in the dashboard and attach it. From starter to the top left side of the windshield, antenna wire feed unit and connect it to the starter. Straight, tighten the antenna itself to the windshield.

Follow the instructions that come with a remote starter. Solder and tape all connections if all the features you need to work properly. Replace the cover and panel.
